Yo Mamma Eats Cheeseburgers!

Bacon, meet your maker.

This burger is more of a king than BK’s Whopper could ever be in a million years.

World, meet burgers with personality.

I call this “the magic patty.” There’s cheddar inside, and bacon. You just can’t see it.

 

Oh yeah.

 Crazy Bacon-Cheddar Stuffed Cheeseburgers
1 lb ground beef (85/15)
4 bacon slices, cooked until crispy and broken into pieces
4 ounces extra sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
8 pieces of high-quality artisan bread (I used Jalapeno-Cheddar)
 
Mix BBQ sauce in with the beef, then divide into 8 equal portions. Smash the meat between your hands until very thin and about 4 inches in diameter. Top 4 of the thin patties with 1 ounce cheese and a crumbled bacon slice. Place another thin patty on top, flatten slightly to remove the air, then pinch the sides together. Re-shape the patties, then grill for about 3 minutes on each side. Serve on toasted bread (brushed with bacon grease) with onions and BBQ sauce.
