The brussel sprouts I made for dinner yesterday are extremely easy to make, and they taste really good, too. Somehow, roasting anything adds such an incredible flavor and it’s so easy! The world of food never ceases to amaze me.
Roasted Brussel Sprouts
15-20 brussel sprouts, washed, trimmed and quartered
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs crushed red pepper (optional)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add the oil to a baking dish and insert into oven for 3 minutes, until melted and coated the bottom of the dish. Add the sprouts and sprinkle with the spices, stir around to coat, and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
