French Onion Soup
I sometimes wish I was french — I mean, what other culture covers soup with cheese and bakes it until it gets bubbly and delicious?
Whose bowl looks better? Their’s, of course.
This soup is just absolutely perfect in every way. It’s soothing after being out in the cold, it smells divine, and it is so pretty! The only change I made was to add lots of black pepper and use low-sodium beef broth.
I apologize for the poor quality photo, but if you click on it, it will enlarge. Or, you could just buy the cookbook.
