Italian Style Spinach

They call it a Super Food for a reason! It’s an amazing, vitamin-packed, delicious food, and you can never get enough!

Spinach is fantastically low in calories, and carries a lot of nutrition along with it! “It’s an insanely rich source of iron, calcium, potassium, folate, vitamins K, A, C, B1, B2, B3, B6 and even has some of those omega-3 fatty acids that are so great for our metabolisms. It’s also got amazing antioxidants that will help keep us hot and wrinkle-free for years, and may help protect our hot little selves from osteoporosis, heart disease, colon cancer, and arthritis.

This super food is also full of fiber. Fiber is what keeps us regular. And being regular (as gross as it is to talk about poo) is what makes our tummies flat and fabulous.

The stuff is just unbelievable, and it tastes pretty darn good, too. If you did not like spinach as a kid, then your mama probably made it wrong. Sorry, but you have to trust me on this. Taste buds change every seven years, so give it another shot. Just don’t buy a giant clump of leafy raw spinach that’s full of dirt and mud. I like to know that my food came from the earth, but i don’t want to eat the earth along with it! Also, please don’t buy canned spinach. That junk is kinda gross, and has just as much sodium as a bag of Cheetos.” [How to eat like a Hot Chick, 35]
